The Ken Waldie Memorial Fund, Inc. is pleased to announce the availability of one (1) Five thousand dollar ($5,000) scholarship grant to a Bethel Park High School Senior student, entering as a full-time student at an accredited college or university. Guidelines for Applicants:

I. The applicant must:

A. Be a member of the current Senior Class of Bethel Park High School

B. Score 900 or above on the S.A.T. (Scholastic Aptitude Test), or 22 on the A.C.T. (American College Testing) composite.

C. Have maintained a cumulative grade point average (G.P.A.) of 3.00 or above through mid-year of his/her senior year.

D. Had competed in a varsity sport and been awarded at least one (1) varsity letter award.

II. The completed scholarship application must be received by the Waldie Scholarship Committee on or before April 15, 2010.

III. In addition to the completed application, the applicant:

A. Must be enrolled full-time for the upcoming Fall Term and intend to obtain a four-year degree.

B. Must submit a copy of his/her school transcript, showing S.A.T. or A.C.T. scores, and the G.P.A. transcript.

C. Must write an essay of not less than 275 words on “Honor”-double spaced.
